PRACTICAL ANSWERS FOR EVERYDAY HIRING
Recruiting with Talent. From first CV to final decision.
For business owners, managers, and HR professionals who want to keep track of candidates without chasing information across lists.
I handle recruitment on my own. How does Talent help?
When hiring is just one of your responsibilities, you need to find where you left off quickly. Talent keeps candidate details, skills, notes, and stages in one place. After a conversation, update the profile. When you return, search for the person or filter by stage and carry on with the details in front of you.
How do I find candidates with the skills and experience I need?
Search by name, role, skill, or a detail in your interview notes. For example, search for “B2B sales” and filter candidates at screening. See the relevant profiles in your database and revisit your notes before deciding who to invite for an interview.
How do I track candidates from first contact to hired?
Each candidate has a clear stage: New, Screening, Interview, Offer, Hired, or Rejected. Update it as the process moves forward and filter your list to focus on a stage, such as everyone currently interviewing. Their notes and skills stay with their profile throughout.
Can I keep interview notes with each candidate?
Yes. Record relevant experience, discussion points, and questions for the next conversation directly in the profile. Update skills as you get to know the person. Notes are searchable too, so a useful detail can help you find the right candidate again.
What does a CV organizer offer beyond a spreadsheet?
A CV organizer gives each candidate a dedicated profile with contact details, skills, notes, and a hiring stage. In Talent, you search and filter that information directly, without maintaining separate columns and lists for every step. It becomes a candidate database you can use in your everyday recruiting.
How does Talent help me avoid duplicate candidates?
Talent checks email addresses and flags duplicates before you save a profile. During import, it also checks whether the same PDF has already been uploaded. Incomplete or conflicting details from processing go to review, where you can correct them before adding a new profile.
Can I upload several CVs at once?
Yes. Select or drag in up to 10 PDF CVs per batch, with a limit of 10 MB each. Follow each file’s status while continuing to work in your workspace. Extracting details and creating profiles automatically requires an active processing service; until it is connected, files stay queued.
What happens if a CV cannot be processed or has missing details?
Follow each file in the import queue. With the processing service active, incomplete results go to review so you can correct details before saving, and failed imports can be retried. For profiles created from processed CVs, the original PDF stays attached and can be downloaded from the profile.
Can I pick up my recruiting on another device?
The current version stores your company, candidates, and documents in the browser on the device you use. You can return to them in the same browser, but syncing between devices is not available yet. Keep copies of important documents: clearing browser data can also remove your workspace.
Can my hiring team work in the same workspace?
Shared access is not available in the current version. You can prepare teammate details and roles in Settings, but invitations are not sent and do not grant access. Working together in a shared workspace will require connected accounts and server storage.
